Company Overview

Camp Manitou is a residential summer camp in Oakland, Maine for boys ages 8-15. It is a premier boys camp in the beautiful Belgrade Lakes region of Maine. Manitou prides itself on a state of the art camping facility with an unmatched variety of programs.

Manitou employs a large, experienced staff of over 220 adults to care for its 370 campers. While most of our counselors are returnees, new additions are always warmly welcomed.

Nurses manage the overall health and wellness of our camp population, administer meds, triage injuries and illnesses, and escort campers into town for appointments or ER/Urgent Care visits.
