Join us this summer on our 20+ acres of fields and forest, just 20 minutes north of Portland, to build a vibrant and caring community, share a connection to the land and natural world, play outdoor games, and engage in the creative arts! Walks and hikes, songs and skits, drawing and freeze tag – share your outdoor and creative interests with small groups of campers. Friends School of Portland is a small independent Quaker school that holds dear the values of inclusion, inquiry, reflection, and equality. We have three camp groups: Chickadee ages 4 & 5, Fox ages 6-8, and Crow ages 9-11. More information about our camps is available at our website, https://www.friendsschoolportland.org/summercamp

Positions available:

Lead Counselor (with experience in education and/or leading camps)

Assistant Counselor (age 18+)

Junior Counselor (age 15-17) 

Camps and planning days run June 10 - July 31. 

Work all seven camp weeks or just 3-4 weeks. Competitive hourly rate.
