Camp Fernwood is seeking creative and enthusiastic Arts and Crafts, Water Activities, and Land Activities Instructors to lead engaging and innovative programs for campers. In Arts and Crafts, we seek instructors who will plan and facilitate age-appropriate arts and crafts activities, foster creativity, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment for campers. The ideal candidate will inspire campers to explore their artistic talents while fostering a supportive and fun environment. In Land Activities, we seek instructors who can lead a variety of outdoor programs and engage campers in fun, active, and creative land-based activities. Ideal candidates will have a passion for outdoor education and a commitment to fostering teamwork and personal growth among campers. In Water Activities, we seek instructors who will lead a variety of water-based programs and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for campers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aquatic activities and the ability to foster a love for water sports among campers.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience teaching or leading outdoor activities, previous experience teaching or leading water activities, ideally in a camp or recreational setting, or previous experience teaching or leading arts and crafts activities, preferably in a camp or educational setting, depending on the area you are applying for.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with campers, parents, and
staff, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage groups of campers effectively.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive and engaging camp experience.
Background Check: Must pass a background check and adhere to camp policies and procedures.
Certifications: Current lifeguard certification, CPR, and first aid certification preferred but not required (for Water Activities Instructors only).
