Looking for a meaningful, active summer job in healthcare? Camp Laughing Loon, a non-profit co-ed day camp on Little Ossipee Lake, is hiring a health supervisor/ office assistant to provide compassionate care to campers while enjoying a fun, team-oriented outdoor environment.
This is the perfect opportunity for RNs, LPNs, EMTs, Athletic Trainers, and Wilderness First Responders seeking seasonal healthcare jobs, summer camp nurse positions, or outdoor medical roles with a consistent weekday schedule—no nights or weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Provide first aid, basic medical care, and health supervision for campers and staff
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and medication logs
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding injuries, illness, or medical needs
- Manage and secure camp medical supplies and medications
- Assist with front office tasks (phones, emails, data entry)
- Support leadership with administrative and organizational tasks

Requirements
Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with one of the following:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC / NATABOC)
Required:
- Valid certification (Maine license or reciprocity eligible)
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of medication administration, patient care, and emergency response
