Camp Laughing Loon, a premier seasonal day camp on Little Ossipee Lake in East Waterboro, Maine, is seeking a certified Lifeguard & Swim Instructor. This dual role offers the perfect balance of professional waterfront safety and the high-energy "full camp experience." If you are passionate about the outdoors, dedicated to working with children ages 6–12, and eager to join a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Camp Dates: June 22 – August 14
Training: Mandatory orientation: June 19 (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
What You Will Do:
- Teach daily swim lessons and help campers build confidence in the water
- Monitor the waterfront and maintain a safe, structured environment
- Perform active lifeguarding, including buddy checks and emergency response
- Be part of camp life—games, theme days, and group activities
- Work closely with a supportive, energetic team

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 18+ years old
- Lifeguard Certification required, and not certified yet? We’ll help you get it!
CPR certification (preferred) - Strong swimmer with effective communication skills
- Responsible, positive, and team-oriented
- Enjoys working with children and being outdoors
